Students’ Voices of Teachers’ Online Written Feedback

Feedback should be beneficial to learners; it provide information about their performance of a task or activity. This study aims explore students' concerns and expectations toward teachers' online written feedback through photovoice. Participants involved fifteen students writing course. To obtain the data, photovoice was used following Wang et al.'s SHOWeD protocols based on theme "students' voices promote discussion among participants researchers critical topics generate solutions. Two instruments were collect data; documentation in form participants' photographs semi-structured interview with each participant. The result revealed that had raised some points regarding teacher's feedback. These include: 1) is sufficient; 2) show strength writing; 3) revision will improve quality; 4) need comfortable place, correct times, snacks when revising. concludes instead simply making suggestions, as customary providing feedback, require assessment strengths. findings suggested teachers lecturers consider students.
